Inform decisions with SEO reports
In order to make decisions on campaign budgets and resource allocation, you need accurate data presented in a digestible way with specific stakeholders in mind. Whether you are a business owner, a director reporting to board members or a content marketer in need of data in order to inform task decisions, I can help.
Since 2009, I’ve been creating informative and engaging SEO reports in various formats (MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and in the last 5 years, mainly in Google Data Studio. This platform allows you to pull data from multiple sources (e.g., Google Analytics and SEO tools) with the data updating in real-time. Based on your business and SEO KPI’s, I can blend multiple data sources to paint a meaningful and actionable picture.
SEO tools I use
Here are some of the tools I will use to display and analysis performance data for your SEO reports. They will monitor technical, on-site and off-site, and local SEO, and website traffic, engagement and conversions.
SEO report analysis
I can create intuitive SEO reports that you can access anytime and analyse the data for you through a strategic lens, referring back to your business’s KPIs. As an SEO consultant who has been fortunate to have worked on various campaigns, I will take into account all of the meaningful factors, such as your KPIs, industry, resources, and competitors, and translate this into commercially-actionable data that doubles as a report on your SEO ROI – return on investment.
This report and optional analysis are included in my ongoing SEO campaign support; however, I can also offer this as a one-off or as a periodic service. I can also provider training in SEO report creation and/or just the analysis side of reporting, so that you can do this in-house.
If you haven’t set up your website tracking yet using Google Analytics and similar website traffic tools, or if your tracking requires further configuration, I can help. I will confirm the on-site and off-site content elements you want to track (landing pages, email shots, social media profiles, external website links), and I will set-up and configure Google Analytics and related tools.
I will account for lead generation and ecommerce elements, filtering out irrelevant traffic, and utilise Google Tag Manager to pull multiple tracking tools together where needed. I have worked with most CMS platforms (content management systems) such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, and more.
What is SEO reporting?
SEO reporting tracks the progress of organic KPIs that impact your business targets, such as organic rankings, traffic, engagement, conversions, domain authority, backlinks and so on. This allows you to determine an ROI (return on investment) on your SEO campaign and make informed strategic decisions.
